Payment

WindTrimmer welcomes your patronage.  All prices on this website are in $US.  You may pay for your purchase in several ways.  We prefer you use any one of several major credit cards, through our Online Store.  It is secure, safe, efficient and will result in the quickest shipment to you.  For international customers an added convenience of using credit cards is that you needn't be concerned about currency conversions, as our merchant bankers automatically provide this service when international charges are made.  INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE CHECK OUR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SECURE CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS!

We will also accept checks and money orders.  Please note, however, that checks and money orders must be payable in US funds.  If you are paying by check or money order, you must send it to WindTrimmer, along with a confirming note of your purchase.  Remittance to be sent to:

Currencies other than $US will not be accepted in payment due to excessive currency exchange and bank fees.

Please note that no merchandise will be shipped until checks and money orders have been cleared by issuing financial institutions.

Shipping in the United States and Canada

All shipping charges are comprised of two components: A flat fee of $2.00 to cover packaging and handling; and a shipping charge based on weight of shipment and shipping method selected by purchaser.  For US and Canadian shipping, Fed Ex Ground is recommended in most cases.  Usually delivery is within five days of shipping and it is reliable and reasonably priced.  Faster shipping is available at higher cost through either FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.

                                         International Shipping

International shipping charges are comprised of two components: A flat fee of $2.00 to cover packaging and handling; and a shipping charge based on destination and weight of shipment .  To keep international shipping costs down we ship by United States Postal Service Airmail Parcel Post, which usually results in delivery in approximately one week of posting.  We don't offer surface shipping for international orders, since delivery usually takes several weeks, and offers only minimal savings.

                                                     Returns

We hope that you will be totally satisfied with your WindTrimmer purchases.  If there is any problem you may return any item you have purchased within 30 days of receipt, so long as it is in resalable condition and in original packaging.  Returns, however, must be preauthorized by WindTrimmer.  Contact us by email, post or phone and we will authorize return and advise as to shipping method.  All returns from U.S. and international purchasers are subject to a 10% fee to cover restocking and our handling costs.  Original shipping costs will not be refunded.   In all cases return shipping costs are the purchaser's responsibility.

                                                Sales Taxes

For United States customers no sales taxes are collected, except for the lucky residents of New York State.

       Customs Duties, Value Added Taxes, Excise Taxes, Etc.

Purchasers are responsible for any local duties or taxes associated  with purchase and importation of any items.

We respect and protect your privacy.  All purchases through our online store are made through an encrypted, secure server, assuring the integrity and safety of your transaction.  Your information will not be shared or sold to any other vendors.  From time to time WindTrimmer may contact you with news of new products.  If you do not wish to receive such notices from us, just email that fact to WindTrimmer.
