Here are a few things you should know
about ordering personalised products from
WindTrimmer:
- There are two ways you can get your photo (either
black & white or color) to us: as an emailed digital image or
a traditional printed photograph.
- Personalised items take approximately two weeks after
receipt of your digital image for our crafters to create.
Three weeks are usually required to craft items when hard
copy photos are sent to us for scanning. In the event of a
delay beyond that you will be notified.
- To email a digital image to us, send it as an attachment to pix@windtrimmer.com
- Files should be either in .bmp format
(at a minimum of 150 dpi) or .jpg format (at a minimum of
150 dpi). Remember that the higher the dpi resolution, the
better the reproduction. Although we prefer .bmp files, we can produce
wonderful products using .jpg files.
- If sending us a traditional hard copy
photo, send it to:

- WindTrimmer will
scan your regular photo free of charge. Remember, however,
that digital images are preferable because they usually yield a
clearer image.
- When selecting a photo think about
its proportions. A tall image will go more easily on a like
surface; a profile view of your Morgan will go better on wider
surface.
- Finally, pictures with the
subject centered on the background give our crafters the best
opportunity for pleasing results.
- All personalised products will
be shipped separately from any other items you order from
WindTrimmer, due to the additional time required for the custom
manufacture of these
items.
